The union movement fought to have HSR roles legislated and although HSRs don’t have to be union members, we want members in these roles. Union folk put their solidarity into practice so who else is better placed to fight for the safety of workers?
Health and Safety Representatives, or HSRs, are an important part of union organising and ensuring we’re all safe at work from physical and psychosocial harms.
In the recent Faculty of Arts and Education HSR elections, Andrew Stapleton, John Cripps Clark, Dylan Holdsworth and Diarmaid Harkin were all elected to their respective areas.
Congratulations comrades!
